Places of interest in Irvine

One of the most popular leisure activities we offer our visitors include our 24 miles of beautiful beaches that offer surfing, body boarding, hiking, tidepools, scuba diving, shopping and dining.

Not only does Orange County host world famous theme parks such as Disneyland and Knott's Berry farm, we are also home to such attractions as the Movieland Wax Museum, Wild Rivers water park, the Fun Zone at Balboa Peninsula, Discovery Science Center and Disney's brand new California Adventures.

For the sports enthusiasts, almost within the shadow of Disneyland's Matterhorn, is Edison Field, formerly called The Big 'A' where the California Angels have been thrilling baseball fans since 1966. Also nearby is Arrowhead Pond, home to the Might Ducks hockey team. When the Ducks aren't at home, the Pond is also a popular venue for rock concerts, ice shows, and the John Wooden basketball tournament.

Hundreds of fashion-setting stores and boutiques can also be found in Orange County cities and malls, along with restaurants, cafes and microbreweries to suit every taste.

Orange County also provides an amazing number of places to visit if your interests include visiting museums, playing golf, or attending a play, ballet, opera or symphony.
